Welcome to the Shadows: The Launch of Static After Dark

Hey everyone, and welcome to the official blog for Static After Dark!
If you love true crime, cold cases, and unexplained mysteries, you’ve found your new home. We officially launched the podcast just a short while ago, and we are already four episodes deep into this wild journey. The support and listens we’ve received so far have been incredible, and we are just getting started.
What We’ve Covered So Far
We wanted to hit the ground running with cases that truly baffle the mind. If you are just joining us, here is a quick look at what you can binge right now:
Our First Three Episodes: We kicked off the show by diving straight into some of the most spine-chilling mysteries and cold cases we’ve ever encountered, setting the stage for what Static After Dark is all about.
Episode 4 (Our Latest Release): We just dropped our deepest dive yet—The Disappearance of Brandon Swanson. We investigate the haunting 2008 Minnesota case of a 19-year-old who drove into a ditch, stayed on the phone with his parents for 47 minutes while walking for help, and suddenly vanished after uttering a final, chilling phrase: "Oh, shit." If you haven’t listened yet, you can find all four episodes right here on our website or on your favorite podcast app!
What’s Coming Next
Right now, we are back in the research trenches working on the rest of the season. Our goal is to bring you thoroughly researched, respectful, and gripping storytelling every single week. We are currently digging into a few lesser-known local cold cases and sorting through stacks of old files for upcoming episodes.
